The training that the Junior League of Central Westchester provides to our volunteers is what sets us apart from other organizations. According to our mission statement: The JLCW is a nonprofit women’s organization committed to promoting volunteerism; developing the potential of women; and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Although our members come from different backgrounds and experiences, we all share a commitment to honing our leadership skills in order to tackle the issues that confront this community. The JLCW enriches and develops volunteers’ leadership skills through innovative, hands-on and rewarding training programs.

One of our signature training initiatives, Leadership and Libations, is an enrichment series that hosts expert speakers and encourages conversation about today’s pertinent topics.
